Hands Free Poker can be used in conjunction with an XBOX 360 controller and PC adapter to control the online poker tables thanks to Pinnacle Game Profiler.  The steps to get the XBOX 360 controller to work are as follows:

1. Install Pinnacle Game Profiler that you downloaded with Hands Free Poker.

2. Plug your XBOX 360 PC adapter into your machine and ensure that your XBOX controller is on and active.  The controller should look like this:

3. Download the XBOX 360 controller Pinnacle Game profile, and then double click to import it into your Pinnacle Game Profiler on your machine.  You can also import this image guide specifically for the XBOX 360 controller for extra options and features.

4. Run Pinnacle Game Profiler and use the imported profile upon startup as seen here:

5. Turn OFF confirmation mode, which asks you to confirm yes or no your commands, as shown here:

Pinnacle Game Profiler (PGP) Software is a third party utility written by PowerUp Software which provides the gamepad mapping ability for Hands Free Poker.  PGP allows our users to play online poker with their gaming controllers through a PC.  Hands Free Poker come with a PGP profile already created for the XBOX wireless controller.

First step is download and  import this profile that was created specifically to work with Hands Free Poker into PGP by double clicking the file on your machine.  Pinnacle will import all the settings so that Hands Free Poker will control the poker tables using the below commands.  You can also download a specific image guide for the XBOX 360 controller.  Save 15% on Hands Free Poker software when you purchase it with an XBOX 360 controller.

In all likelyhood, yes!  Hands Free Poker comes with a hotkey utility called Pinnacle Gaming Profiler that allows a player to map HFP commands to buttons on the game pad.  Thus, you can operate all the same functions as the voice

Hands Free Poker supports Windows Vista and Windows 7, which have the latest version of the Microsoft Speech Recognition installed.  We would have liked to support Windows XP, however due to limitations from Microsoft, that you can read about in ‘about speech technology‘, we cannot support Windows XP sufficiently as it has an older voice engine.

We have gotten quite a bit of users asking for a Macintosh version and we are looking into that in the future.

1) In-line Mute Button – The headsets sold on Hands Free Poker .com (LINK TO HEADET STORE HERE) were specifically chosen do to their function with the software. They are highly recommended although any headset will work. All the models of headsets we sell have a button on the physical wire or on the physical wireless headpiece that will allow you to mute the speech piece at any time. Please refer to the user manual for the device you have for the details, but the operation is very straight-forward.

2) Confirmation Mode – Hands Free Poker has a confirmation mode that requires the player to confirm every action with a simple pop-up box asking “Are you sure you want to xxx?”. The only two answers to this questions are “yes” or “no”. This confirmation mode runs by default and must be turned off yet this is only recommended to extremely advanced users. Further, even with confirmation mode turned to “off”, the user must confirm “yes” or “no” to an all-in bet.

We feel with the combination of these 2 solutions, a player can achieve accuracy as good or better than standard mouse control.

Yes, all normal mouse/keyboard functions still work while Hands Free Poker is running. Hands Free Poker is simply another means to manipulate the poker tables. In fact, it is STRONLY recommended to use the mouse/keyboard in important situations as ones voice, pitch, etc. can change significantly when one is nervous/excited, etc. The goal of Hands Free Poker is to take the majority of the burden of online poker away from the mouse/keyboard, not to replace it entirely. This tool can be used in conjunction with the mouse/keyboard although it does not need to be.

Hands Free Poker supports all forms of poker on Full Tilt and Poker Stars including No Limit and Limit Holdem, Pot Limit and Limit Omaha, Stud, basically any form you can play on either site.
